We take our responsibilities to the wider community in which we live, work and do business very seriously
As part of our commitment to investing in improving the lives of others, we are actively involved in charities that focus on improving the lives of children and the elderly.
The Teddy Bear Clinic
In 2003, James Clucas and his wife, Jacqui, were involved in setting up a charity called Touch, Love and Celebrate. Funds raised through the charity were given to the Teddy Bear Clinic, a charity in which James is actively involved; to improve the lives of abused children. To date the fund has risen in excess of R 3 million.
Royal Drakensburg Primary School
Paul Carter established a relationship with the Royal Drakensburg Primary School in 2012. The self-funded school was opened in 2007 to give underprivileged children in the area the necessary grounding to reach their maximum potential. ClucasGray are large participants in the schools fund raising events.
The Alexandra Education Trust
The Alexandra Education Trust is a secondary school bursary scheme as well as a support program for children in and around the Alexandra Township. ClucasGray started sponsoring children through the program in 2016 and hopes to build on this initiative over the coming years.
